I’ll be speaking at the Wellington .NET user group next Wednesday about Domain Driven Design. It’s intended as an introductory session, so content will include:
- Domain model basics (domain experts, ubiquitous language etc)
- Building blocks (entities, value types, specifications, repositories, aggregate roots etc)
- Anticorruption layers and bounded contexts
- Making roles explicit
- Persistence ignorance
- Validation patterns
- The onion architecture
- When not to use DDD
